Bay Area permit and site planning services

A landscape architect is often one of the first professionals involved in a new residence or a significant renovation. Many projects require landscape plans stamped by a landscape architect for permit applications. I frequently provide services related to those applications, most often involving projects with grading or drainage needs. These include hillside landscape projects, design review committees, HOA review, or significant construction projects. Design review committees are a regular part of permit submittals and stamped landscape architectural drawings are necessary. Additionally, many Homeowner Associations (HOAs) require landscape submittals for approval which require a landscape architect to do the necessary drawings as well as supporting documentation.

Permit applications for renovations or new construction commonly require a landscape screening plan, as well as site planning drawings, stamped by a landscape architect. Landscape plans for a sloped site may require a city or county permit, involving the building and planning departments, as well as engineers and surveyors. (Also see Hillside Landscape Design.)
